Welcome to the Service Dog Training Center! We are a Non-Profit organization that strives to provide Service Dogs to people who most need them.

Why Us?
We feel that making Service Dogs accessible to everyone that needs them is a great privilege. For people with disabilities, like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, children on the Autistic Spectrum, or people with Special Needs, a Service Dog is not just a right, its a must.
Service Dogs can be the difference between a life with independence, involvement, and activity, to life with dependence on others. Sadly, to most, the cost of a Service Dog can be prohibitive. We are working tirelessly to have the field of Service Dogs be subsidized by the government and recognized by public institutions. This will allow all certified Service Dogs to have public accessibility with their handler.

Ilan Frumkin
Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of “The Service Dog Training Center”

I am a professional Service and Therapeutic Canine Instructor. Before starting the Service Dog Training Center, I managed the Therapeutic Kennels at the Therapeutic Riding Center in Israel.
I studied and worked in the Service Dog Training field in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. From that experience, I decided that there was no reason why I shouldn’t bring the field to Israel. Now, together with the foundation “Bocalan”, we initiated a program to teach Service Dog Training and to bring Service Dogs to the Israeli market, all while holding to the international standards of the field and offering international certification to our Alumni.
Barak Cohen
Entrepreneur and Co-Founder of “The Service Dog Training Center”

I was a fighter and dog handler in an Elite unit in the IDF called Oketz. During my military service, I experienced first hand the unique bond between man and dog. In recent years, I have committed my time to aid fellow combat veterans, who suffer
from PTSD, see the incredible and healing impact a Service Dog can have on their lives. With the establishment of the Service Dog Training Center, I see a tangible opportunity for real change in the lives of people who could benefit from a Service Dog.
